Using color palettes taken from other inspiring concept art and movie stills, we had to apply them to our landscapes and make ’em work. Some are alright, some are more experimental than anything… A lot of fun. Good exercise, methinks.
The written notes are the layer blending options I had the color layer on. If you don’t want to sacrifice hue saturation in your colors, use the “Color” blend setting… Unfortunately, you won’t have as much contrast as, say, when you use the “Overlay” setting which really brings out the lighting and mood of the jungle scene.
